4T ENGINE OIL FOR HEAVY DUTY

Superior lubricating oil developed for engine types equipped with aftertreatment systems that meet the latest Euro IV and V emission standards. Designed for the lubrication of diesel engines of heavy commercial vehicles with high specific power and high performance used on long distances and in severe operating conditions.
The product is formulated with additives with a very low ash content to meet low-SAPS needs (sulphated ash, phosphorus, and sulphur) and for this reason it is strongly recommended for the use of engines equipped with exhaust post-treatment systems of the type: with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) with or without particulate filter (DPF) and in engines equipped with NOx nitrogen oxide exhaust reduction (SCR).
The SAE 10W/40 multigrade viscosity makes it suitable for use at any time of the year and at any latitude, showing excellent cold start properties.

It has an excellent TBN which maintains engine cleanliness over time and guarantees significantly extended replacement intervals (always according to the Manufacturer’s recommendations for each vehicle).
Particularly suitable for application in vehicles with engines powered by natural gas (MB 226.9 and MAN M3271-1 specifications), such as in the public transport sector, in particular for buses in local services or in suburban and extra-urban traffic, but even in heavy commercial vehicles used over long distances.
The anti-wear and anti-corrosion capabilities guarantee excellent cleaning and protection of the gas engine, reducing the problem of the high hydrogen content of natural gas which, when burned, would lead to an increase in the level of water in the engine oil, thus avoiding the increased corrosion and wear that would result. 

If thevehicle is used mainly on short distance journeys, the included water cannot evaporate sufficiently due to the lower oil temperatures: for this reason the anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties are particularly important.
