TRANSMISSION OIL
It is a special, fully synthetic lubricant with high technological content, developed specifically for dual clutch transmissions (DCT) of motor vehicles. The product is suitable for use in multiple applications, both in wet or dry clutches.
The use of top quality synthetic bases gives the product a very high thermal and oxidative resistance which allows oil change intervals to be extended even after prolonged severe operating conditions. Thanks to the use of synthetic bases, the fluid dynamic characteristics also remain unchanged over time: the high resistance to the mechanical stresses caused by the moving parts in contact with each other remains close to the initial value, thus maintaining the ideal viscometric characteristics of the product, for correct lubrication. The exceptional cold fluidity is also thanks to the totally synthetic nature of the product.
An advanced performance package, specific for DCT gearboxes, allows the maintenance of the correct friction coefficient during the entire duration of the charge, required by this particular type of transmission, in order to avoid annoying vibrations and anomalous irregular gear changes. Furthermore, the specific EP additive allows it to resist the considerable pressures developed by the gears, protecting the surface and the teeth, and thus increasing the useful life of all the mechanical parts of the transmission.
